For use in both commercial and residential applications, the screen rides on a floor track that is 1/2 inch high and 1-1/2 inches wide. High Performance Low-E4 glass has an applied coating that, when activated by sunlight, helps reduce water spots, promotes drying, and cuts down on dirt build-up on the glass surface. It will be a standard feature on Andersen 400 Series products and is, on average according to the manufacturer, more energy efficient (41 percent in summer and 35 percent in winter) than standard dual-pane glass. A transparent metallic Low-E coating, applied to one of the glass surfaces in the airspace, deflects radiant heat and can reduce glare and ultra-violet light.
