Pritzker Architecture Prize Jurors Announced

September 28, 2006 The Pritzker Architecture Prize jury has been expanded by three new members: Shigeru Ban of Tokyo and Paris, Toshiko Mori of New York City and Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Renzo Piano of Genoa, Italy and Paris. The announcement was made on September 11 by Thomas J. Pritzker, president of the Hyatt Foundation, which established the prize in 1979. The trio joins Lord Peter Palumbo, Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi, Rolf Fehlbaum, Carlos Jimenez, Victoria Newhouse, and Karen Stein. Frank Gehry retired from the jury earlier this year. jennifer brite
